About Us

More than
a studio.

Vision of You is a tattoo studio in Vienna where, for us, tattooing is more than just a service—it’s a personal and collaborative creative process.

It’s important to us that every tattoo is unique—not just in appearance, but also in what it represents. Every design is tailored to our clients’ vision, story, and personality—whether it’s a small fine-line tattoo or a larger custom tattoo project.

We’ve designed the studio to be a quiet and inspiring space where you can feel at ease and simply be present. For us, the experience is just as important as the final result. That’s why we place great emphasis on attention to detail, meticulous workmanship, and a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

Our work includes fine-line tattoos, intricate designs, and custom projects. We also regularly welcome guest artists to the studio, allowing us to offer a variety of styles and help you find the right artist for any idea.

For us, a good tattoo is timeless, personal, and authentic—something that truly suits the person wearing it.

Tattoo Care: Before, During, and After the Session

Come well-rested
Getting a tattoo can be physically taxing, especially during longer sessions. It’s a good idea to get a good night’s sleep the night before and arrive feeling well-rested.
Eat before your appointment
Be sure to eat something before getting a tattoo. Low blood sugar can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or weakness during the session—your body needs enough energy.
Make sure to drink enough
Well-hydrated skin generally responds better to tattooing and heals faster. Make sure to stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine
We recommend avoiding alcohol starting the day before your appointment. You should also avoid caffeine as much as possible on the day of your tattoo. Of course, we offer decaffeinated coffee at the studio.
Take care of your skin
You should apply moisturizer regularly to the area where you plan to get a tattoo in the days leading up to your appointment. Well-cared-for, well-hydrated skin helps the tattooing process and the healing that follows.
Avoid sunburn and tanning beds
Unfortunately, we cannot tattoo skin that is burned or irritated. Therefore, please take special care to protect the affected area in the days leading up to your appointment.
We'll take care of the shaving
The artist will always prepare the area to be tattooed—so you don't have to worry about shaving it yourself.
Come in comfortable clothes
Choose clothing that is comfortable and allows easy access to the area to be tattooed—this is especially important during longer sessions.
Feel free to ask if you're unsure
It’s important to us that the entire process goes smoothly and transparently. If you have any questions before the appointment, please feel free to contact us at any time.
The process always begins with a consultation
Before we start tattooing, we’ll discuss the final design, size, placement, and all the important details together. Once the stencil is in place, there’s still plenty of room for adjustments until everything is just right.
Your well-being is our top priority
Getting a tattoo often takes several hours—which is why we place great importance on a calm atmosphere and open communication. If you need a short break at any point, you’re welcome to take one.
Pain and tenderness
Every person and every part of the body reacts differently to getting a tattoo. Some areas are more sensitive, but most clients find the process much more comfortable than they expected.
Health and Safety
Hygiene and a professional work environment are our top priorities. All materials and work processes comply with current standards.
For longer sessions
For larger projects or longer sessions, we naturally take short breaks. During this time, it’s a good idea to have a drink—a light meal can also help.
The First Few Hours
A fresh tattoo is like an open wound, so it’s important to keep it clean and properly protected. After your appointment, our artists will explain all the important steps and provide you with aftercare cream and care instructions.
Cleansing and Moisturizing
During the healing process, it is important to keep the tattoo clean and moisturize it regularly.
What should you keep in mind during the healing process?
During the first few weeks, you should avoid the following as much as possible:
  • strenuous exercise and heavy sweating,
  • Swimming pools, saunas, and prolonged soaking,
  • direct sunlight and tanning beds,
  • as well as scratching or tampering with the tattoo.
Mild flaking and itching can be a normal part of the healing process.
How long does it take to heal?
Superficial healing usually takes about 2–3 weeks. However, it can take 4–6 weeks for the skin to fully regenerate.
Free touch-up option
Minor imperfections may occasionally occur during the healing process. In such cases, we will of course provide a free touch-up.
If you have any questions during the healing process
You can contact us at any time during the healing process. It’s important to us that your tattoo is not only done well, but also heals properly in the long run.
